NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

The motto of NSS is “Not Me, Not You, But We”. The programme aims at personality development through social and community service.

The main aim of National Service Scheme is personality development through social service or community service. This programme is to inculcate the social welfare thoughts in the students, and to provide service to the society without any prejudice. NSS volunteers work hard day and night to ensure that every one in our society who is needy gets the every possible help from them so that they can also enhance their standards and lead a life of dignity in the society with all of us. In doing so the volunteers themselves learn a lot from the people in villages like how to struggle and how to lead a happy life in the extreme scarcity of resources and so on. Another aim is personality development through social service.

NATIONAL CADET CORPS

NCC develops discipline, leadership, comradeship, secular outlook and spirit of adventure among students.

The National Cadet Corps (Hindi: राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर) is the Indian military cadet corps, The aims of N.C.C. are as per below: The aims of N.C.C. are as per below: To Develop Character, Comradeship, Discipline, Leadership, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the Country. To Create a Human Resource of Organized, Trained and Motivated Youth, To Provide Leadership in all Walks of life and be Always Available for the Service of the Nation. To Provide a Suitable Environment to Motivate the Youth to Take Up a Career in the Armed Forces. OUR NCC UNIT IS A COY WITH 160 CADETS.

SOCIAL SERVICE LEAGUE

The Social Service League motivates students to participate in social welfare activities and community development programmes.

It helps students develop empathy, teamwork and social responsibility through meaningful service activities.

VIDYARANGAM

Vidyarangam promotes literary, cultural and creative talents among students through competitions and activities.

It encourages students to express their creativity in writing, speaking and arts.

NOON FEEDING PROGRAMME

Around 245 students participate in the Noon Feeding Programme conducted in the school.

The programme ensures proper nutrition and supports the overall wellbeing of students.

CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY

The school runs a co-operative society for students.

The society provides books, stationery items, snacks and other essentials at reduced prices for students.

WORK EXPERIENCE CLUB

The club provides practical exposure and encourages students to develop creative and technical skills.

Students gain confidence through hands-on learning experiences and productive activities.

MGOCSM

Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement (MGOCSM) is the student wing of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.

The Syrian student conference, the parent organization, assumed its present name MGOCSM in 1960. Ours is the oldest Christian student organization in India. Our motto is Worship - Service - Study.

MATHEMATICS CLUB

The Mathematics Club encourages students to enjoy mathematics through fun-based learning activities.

Mathematics is described as “the queen of the Sciences and the king of the Arts”.The Math club functions as fun based activity If you are a high school or middle school student thinking of majoring in mathematics, you have come to the right place. If you are a high school or middle school student not thinking of majoring in mathematics, but you really enjoy math, you are still at the right place. If you are a high school or middle school math teacher, possibly involved in your school's Math Club, you are also at the right place and we need your help.

SCIENCE & HEALTH CLUB

The Science Club helps students explore scientific ideas beyond classroom learning through exhibitions, quizzes and experiments.

The school Science Club is actively involved in bringing out the talents and potentials of students in the field of science. Together we have brought a lot of laurels to the school. Science club meetings are conducted frequently to plan the activities of the club. The major activities of the club included science exhibition, essay writing, science quiz etc. Children who have a scientific bent of mind, benefit a lot out of this club, because of the opportunities for experimentation, observation and analysis that go beyond the classroom.

ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS CLUB

The Nature Club conducts various activities to protect and enhance the natural beauty of the campus.

The nature club is engaged in a variety of activities to improve and enhance the natural beauty with which the school is endowed with. A team of teachers and students work day and night to transform the campus into a nature lovers' paradise.

COMMERCE CLUB

The Commerce Club focuses on practical exposure related to commerce and economics.

The Commerce Club is an offshoot of the Senior Secondary Commerce stream; its activities focus on practical training for the theoretical knowledge, which the commerce students gain in the classroom.Other activities include quiz programmes, speeches by Heads of leading commercial houses on important topical issues and analytical discussions on the commercial and economic areas of interest, and visits to business places like banks, stock-exchange etc.

LIBRARY

The school library exists to provide a range of learning opportunities for both large and small groups as well as individuals with a focus on intellectual content, information literacy, and the learner. A school library is a library within a school where students, staff of school have access to a variety of resources. The IT Club conducts competitions and activities related to technology and digital learning.

Students explore multimedia presentations, web designing and software applications while preparing for district-level competitions.
